Fundraising Efforts
We do several things to raise money to find a cure for diabetes. We have an ongoing can drive, which has netted us over $300 and counting over the past year. We do letters and emails asking for straight donations. We do spare change drives, which has raised over $200. We ask for donations from businesses to help sponsor our team. We’ve walked in the Ankeny Summerfest parade to raise money. We’ve raffled off a quilt. We sell car magnets like this:
